Spartanburg Regional Director of Campus Ministry (FT, Spartanburg)
The Diocese of Charleston invites applications for a full time campus minister to work collaboratively with local priest chaplains and volunteer campus ministers. This new regional position will foster current programming and expand Catholic campus ministry at these campuses. With a local office the regional campus minister will organize, grow, and empower student programming and liturgy on each campus based on the six dimensions of Catholic campus ministry. As a member of the Diocesan Catholic Campus Ministry Program the campus minister also communicates with the diocesan office, shares in diocesan CM meetings, and promotes diocesan-wide CM events. This campus minister will collaborate with diocesan director to explore future possibilities at several other Spartanburg campuses. Core responsibilities include: development of strong, student leadership and peer ministry, a desire to reach students in their faith journey, and engagement in a regular ministry of presence on the campuses and at student events. This new position requires ability to create, collaborate, self-start, and balance ministry responsibilities in a multi-campus setting.

Practicing Catholic with degree in theology, religious studies, or related field (Master degree preferred). Preferred qualifications include several years of ministry experience working in a higher education setting. Middle School Mathematics
St. Michael Catholic is accepting applications for a Middle School Math teacher. The teacher will be responsible for sections of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and will work as part of a middle school team.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
  • Hold a current State of South Carolina Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in grades 6 - 12 Mathematics (or certification with 6 - 12 math endorsement from another state);
  • Be able to effectively teach both remedial and advanced middle school Mathematics including high school level Algebra I and Geometry.

    The Associate Director of Stewardship and Development (ADSD) will join the Diocese of Charleston at an exciting and critical time in its history. The ADSD will assist the Director of Stewardship and Development to enhance and implement the annual appeal strategy and work with parishes in promoting the principles of Christian stewardship. The ADSD will have 2-3 years experience in conducting annual appeals, capital campaigns, and/or promoting stewardship in a diocesan, parish, or related non-profit organization.
