The Diocese of Charleston recognizes the mandate to preach the Gospel to all people.
We are called to serve the poor, the forgotten, and the homeless both here in South Carolina, as well as other places in the world. We at the Diocese of Charleston look for opportunities where Catholics and any others interested in our mission will partner with us in our ministry. We believe that when we answer the call to serve the poor, our own faith is deepened and we ourselves encounter Christ in a more meaningful way in our lives.
The International Ministries Department
of the Diocese of Charleston will be hosting medical mission trips to Guatemala
on the following dates:
- February 3-10
- September 22-29
- March 2-9
- September 21-28
Doctors, nurses, dentists, ophthalmologists /optometrists, interpreters and others are needed! These trips not only provide much needed health care for Guatemalans, but participants find their own experience to be life changing.
